The world of sales is constantly changing and changing. Baby Boomers are beginning to retire, members of Generation X are moving into upper-management, and Millennials are just getting their feet wet as members of the post-collegiate work force.

And you may have noticed, each of these generations communicates differently, and each has a unique set of professional motivations.

Understanding your target audience is an extremely important part of selling your services. It requires techniques that go beyond the basics of noting a prospect's job title and responsibilities. We must develop sales strategies that take into account the fact that our clients are people too.
